Eating 5 smaller meals is better than eating three big meals. It’s better to eat something every 4 hours. If you go past 4 hours, your blood sugar levels will drop and the body will go into starvation mode.

We don’t usually have time to eat 5-6 servings of fruits and vegetables a day. Taking a simple multivitamin will take care of this. Pure fruit juices and V8 are also considered servings.

Drink as much water as you can to keep hydrated. If you feel you have dry mouth, then you need to hydrate. Once your mouth feels lubricated, then you are well hydrated. Drink a glass of water before and after you eat, it helps digest the food better.

Look for products with whole grains and fibre. These ingredients help keep your system regular.

Get the proper amount of sleep. Even over sleeping is not good for you. Everything heals in your sleep. 8 hours is required for average adults.

Make the habit of eating fresh foods instead of canned or frozen. Fresh nutrients are better than preserved ones. Avoid fast food.
